Winter Warmers is that little corner lot next to Secret Recipe and opposite Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf and in Gurney Plaza. So, with these bigger names, what attract patrons to the lesser known Winter Warmers?
I must say it is their homely feel and the pots of cold fruity teas and herbal teas that makes Winter Warmers buzzing with patrons.
Their food prices are not expensive and they have a variety of cakes, set meals and snack foods which are rather interesting, though not very tasty. The above is the cake of the day which is only RM4.
My children love Winter Warmers pot of teas. It makes them feel grown-up drinking from the lovely glass. Today, we have the iced orange tea. A pot costs RM9.90 and quantity is more than enough for a person. So, usually we share a pot.
I pop by Winter Warmers once in a while because I enjoy the English decor of flowery table cloths, wallpapers and most of all, the lovely cups.
A set of two cups like the above costs RM99.90 from Winter Warmers. I find it rather expensive so I can just admire them displayed on the shelves in Winter Warmers. Beside selling the cups and saucers, Winter Warmers also sell jars of blueberries tea, herbal teas, roses teas and other concoction. I think I will buy one of those jars of teas ‘cos it is only RM12.90.
Service at Winter Warmers is good and they have good service staffs over here at Gurney Plaza’s branch. A nice place to chill after a hard day’s work shopping. Winter Warmers have a website over here.
