I watched the above video and found it is so easy to follow. Incidentally, I got a spare French loaf and decided to do it.
My ingredients were :
4 eggs – beaten
UHT milk – About 200 ml. You need to judge because the quantity depends on your bread texture.
Half a loaf of French loaf, cut into cubes
1 green apple, peel and core, slice thinly
A handful of raisins
3 tablespoons of sugar
Cinnamon powder
2 tablespoons of butter

Method : Beat eggs, sugar and milk
Put apple, raisins and bread into a casserole with cover.
Pour in the egg/milk mixture. The liquid should cover the whole layer. Otherwise, add more milk. The bread shouldn’t be too soggy and yet, none of them ought to remain dry. Put the layer of button on the surface
Bake with a covered casserole for 25 minutes at 200 deg. Take away the cover, and leave the casserole in the oven. If you like add some cheddar cheese and sprinkle a bit of sugar and bake for another 10 minutes at 220 deg. or until brown.
My bread pudding turned out just nice. Beautiful and tasty. Yet so cheap. The French loaves in Tesco are going cheap. RM1.49 per loaf, buy one get one free. Not the best but it makes good bread pudding.
I didn’t bother to make vanilla sauce or have any icecream to complement the pudding.
Bread …………………. now i really hunger for bread liau. Must drop by somewhere to pick up a good loaf of bread. hahaha
