After days of seafood in KK, I couldn’t stomach another seafood meal. So, we check out Little Italy which was advertised in the tourist map. When we reached the restaurant, the place was packed but diners were all finishing their meals as it was almost 9 pm. We were greeted by a bald, handsome guy who certainly knows his stuffs.
He made the recommendations for pasta, pizza and wine. There are two types of pasta on their menu. One is the fresh type which goes for RM23.90 (including your choice of sauce) and the other is the dried pasta at RM18.90. The price is certainly very cheap! I had to ask him twice if the price of the pasta and the sauce is really RM23.90 or they charge separately. LOL.
My son had this exceptionally cheese pasta. It smells! But we are used to them so it is tasty. Otherwise, if you are not a cheese person, you may find the dish repulsive. Hehehe.
If that’s not cheesy enough, we also had the four cheese pizza. Their pizzas are absolutely delicious! I wish KK is not so far from home.
Mr. Charming, bald and moustache guy (iLike!) charmed me into trying the ricotta and spinach ravioli with the sauce he recommended. He told me the sauce and fresh pasta are made by an Italian woman (whom he pointed out to me).
The tiramisu, RM9.90. Cheap and tastes good.
Caramel pudding.
We had two pizzas, three pastas, two desserts, drinks in carafe (spells huge mugs), a carafe of red wine (nice selection), coffee and the total bill is about RM200. That fed 6 of us.
I have forgotten where it is located but it is just right in KK town and KK only has about four pararrel roads so you can’t get lost or missed the place.
Too bad, Mr. Bald guy left (finished work?) before we finished dinner or I would have snapped a pic with him. 😛 Ok, I was a bit high after finishing the wine myself.
It is in the same building with Capital Hotel. 😀
mmmmmm… that cheese pasta looks like it’s to die for!
It’s the best Italian Restaurant in Sabah!
it is also the best i have tasted thus far! the lemonade is also good
Hey there!
There is a popular Italian Restaurant which is having this long run promotion for serving All-You-Can-Eat pastas and pizzas. It’s only Bnd$12.80 per pax and you can order as much pastas and pizzas as you can. It should be around Rm 24 i guess. Worth to try out if you’re visiting Brunei. Cheers~
