I am catching some breathe. From 8am till 5pm, I had been marketing, cooking, shopping (yeah, I still have time to run out for a little shopping) a complete meal.
Here’s a sneak peak at my turkey. After today, nothing scares me anymore. The turkey was real easy to do. Thanks to all the wonderful tips from the readers who shared their tips.
I stuff butter in between the skin, cover the turkey with bacons while roasting (but bacon was taken out after an hour as it was crispy and brown.
I made gravy with the dripping, added some Merlot and butter.
I don’t have time to edit the photo. So, a large one can be view here. I had bought a bunch of parsley, some cherry tomatoes and potatoes to decorate the turkey. Looks yummier than those sold at the shops, isn’t it?
Finally, I have about an hour to myself before the guests arrive. From a mere 12 pax, the numbers have soared to about 25!
More good food pics to come! All my foods had undergone the ‘taster’ test. My very picky son, the No. 2 son, has approved the turkey as GOOD!
I hope everyone is having a feast at the moment.
